Our Mission

Partners Tea Co. is dedicated to bringing tea lovers and tea growers together for the health of our planet and all of its people.

Artisan tea blends and pure teas are the instrument of this partnership for social and environmental sustainability. We at Partners Tea Co. are committed to Fair Trade, protecting our planet through use of organic teas, flowers and herbs and biodegradable materials, doing good works and creating delicious teas.

Women are the backbone of Partners Tea Co. from the financing and operations to the tea picking and packaging. Owner Sarah Scarborough says, "Women plant and nurture seeds of change for their entire communities and for future generations' health care, education and opportunity. Fair Trade gives them those seeds by paying above the market price for tea. We also believe in the power of business to instigate positive change in the world and in the potential of women to nourish the planet back to health. Through 1% for the Planet, we donate 1% of our sales to organizations like Kiva and Central Asia Institute to support girls' education and micro-lending."

Our Founder

Launching Partners Tea Co. in early 2006, owner Sarah Scarborough's mission for social and environmental sustainability has been recognized internationally and awarded at home. Tagged "The Tea Lady," Sarah combines her love for indigenous cultures, their agriculture and her desire to share the good life - one lived with simplicity, health and sustainability - with Partners Tea Co.
